The SERT Water Team is a highly specialized water rescue and recovery unit dedicated to maintaining a high level of proficiency and safety while providing a readiness to respond to all water related emergencies in our region. The SERT Water Team currently staffs 17 team members trained in advanced dive rescue and recovery, swift water rescue and ice rescue operations. The SERT Water Team also maintains membership in the Ohio Region 2 TAC Team allowing the SERT organization to benefit from increased regional resources and expertise. Additionally The SERT Water Team draws on advanced technologies including underwater hardwire and wireless communications, underwater imagining and high resolution sonar to accomplish its overall most important objective, life safety!
